Psycho-neuro-biological Correlates of Beta Activity

چکیده
Chronic stress and anxiety in everyday life can lead to sympathetic hyperactivity. This be observed as behavioral, chemical, neurological changes, including increased rumination, anxiety, depression, chemical changes biological markers like homocysteine. In the EEG, beta (13–30 Hz) wave activity, especially high (> 20 has long been noted states. However, recent research indicates that low waves (13–20 may play a role well. The current paper presents pilot study assessed Neurocycle’s efficacy nonpharmacological mind-management therapy for people who struggle with depression. We psychometrics, blood-serum homocysteine levels, quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG). Efficacy of Neurocycle was demonstrated by improved psychometric self-assessment over study. positive correlation between subject’s relative power levels. findings validate improving mental health measured measures. Altogether, these support beta’s stress/anxiety manifestation given its modulation significantly correlated biomarkers patients’ blood samples self-assessments. Future work should expand larger datasets confirm ranges healthy maladaptive beta.

Editorial: Further Understanding of Serotonin 7 Receptors' Neuro-psycho-pharmacology
This volume assembles a number of original research articles and review papers focused on the serotonin receptor 7 (5-HT7R), the most recently described member of the serotonin receptor family. The idea of making this volume came out at the end of a Workshop held in Rome on September 2013. The aim of the Workshop was to bring together researchers working on the emerging neurobiological roles pl...
متن کاملThe Neuro Psycho Physiological Effects of Chronic and Excessive Stress
Stress is an unavoidable aspect of our daily lives. We face deadlines and get stuck in traffic, experience conflict and financial struggles, and live in a race against time. All things considered, humans are remarkably resilient against stress. It’s even useful to a point. When stress becomes chronic or excessive, however, it can exceed our natural ability to cope, resulting in harmful conseque...
متن کاملBeta Neuro-fuzzy Systems
Abstract: In this paper we present the Beta function and its main properties. A key feature of the Beta function, which is given by the central-limit theorem, is also shown. We then introduce a new category of neural networks based on a new kernel: the Beta function. Next, we investigate the use of Beta fuzzy basis functions for the design of fuzzy logic systems. The functional equivalence betw...
متن کاملMacro- and Microscopic Self-Similarity in Neuro- and Psycho-Dynamics
The unique Hamiltonian description of neuroand psycho-dynamics at the macroscopic, classical, inter-neuronal level of brain’s neural networks, and microscopic, quantum, intra-neuronal level of brain’s microtubules, is presented in the form of open Liouville equations. This implies the arrow of time in both neuroand psycho-dynamic processes and shows the existence of the formal neuro-biological ...
متن کاملYogic exercises and health--a psycho-neuro immunological approach.
Relaxation potential of yogic exercises seems to play a vital role in establishing psycho-physical health in reversing the psycho-immunology of emotions under stress based on breath and body awareness. However, mechanism of yogic exercises for restoring health and fitness components operating through psycho-neuro-immunological pathways is unknown. Therefore, a hybrid model of human information ...
